Grains of Ominio (background), a traditional pigmented rice cultivar from the Philippines, and bran of traditional rice cultivars: Chor-chor-os, Dikdik, kalinayan and Ominio, with their high phytochemical content and antioxidant activity, may be a significant source of dietary nutrients and natural antioxidants that can be used as ingredient for rice-bran based food and pharmaceutical products with therapeutic property.
